  Join us for an in-depth furniture painting workshop!

 How does it work?

Pick your Piece at the Second Tern thrift store any weekend in July - through September until class. You will work with Second Tern to pick your Piece! A good rule of thumb is a piece that can fit in your car's back seat.

Please choose a piece such as a small cabinet, desk, or end table. A flip takes time, and we want you to love your Piece and not get overwhelmed! Questions? Reach out - Jodi (541)362-1114

Let Second Tern know you are taking this class, and we can work together to get you the best price on the Piece! Remember, Second Tern is a nonprofit that works to keep Sunriver Nature Center thriving! Second, Tern will deliver your Piece to the Meandering Maker Studio in La Pine.

In the end, you will have a completed piece! Y

On Saturday, September 16th, we will clean, prep, and prime our pieces! Doing the "tough" work the night before makes Sunday a much easier and smoother day!

September 17th th - we will paint and discuss finishing techniques to add "wow" to the projects!

Decopauge papers, Iron Orchid Desing transfers, and stencils will be available for an additional purchase to add some wow if you want! Re-usable supplies such as stencils and stamps will not involve an additional charge.

We use Wise Owl Paint! This durable finish is made to stand up to real life! Once we have your registration, we will reach out and make sure we have your color choice on hand! All primer, paint, and topcoat will be included! 

Please make sure your Piece does not need "repair." Light scratches we can work with, water rings, - but major repair work - we will not have the time to make those types of fixes.

Bring snacks and your choice of beverage! This is a hands-on class - we will paint, laugh and have fun!

If needed, we will work with Second Tern to make sure your finished masterpiece gets to your home!
